Why We Created HeroLoom® Educational Programme

Learning should be something you experience — not just something you're told.

We created HeroLoom® Educational Programme to make learning about food, wellbeing, healthy habits and everyday choices more engaging, practical and memorable.

We believe young people learn best when they can take part, ask questions, solve problems, work together and connect ideas to real life.

That is why HeroLoom® brings learning to life through interactive activities, puzzles, challenges, discussion and reflection.

What Do We Want to Achieve?

Our goal is not simply to deliver information.

We want participants to leave with:

- Greater awareness
- Confidence to ask questions
- Stronger teamwork and communication
- More critical thinking
- A better understanding of everyday wellbeing
- Ideas they can take beyond the workshop

We don't tell people what to eat or how to live. We create experiences that encourage them to understand, question and make more informed choices.

Who Is Behind HeroLoom®?

HeroLoom® was created by Elda Lima, founder of Green Traffic Light®.

With a background in Biological & Food Engineering, Food Technology & Safety and Biomedical Science, and more than 12 years of food-industry experience, Elda brings together professional knowledge with a passion for education, wellbeing, sustainability and interactive learning.

And HeroLoom® won't be built by one person alone.

We are developing opportunities to bring teachers, researchers, food professionals, educators and other specialists into the programme — sharing different perspectives and helping make every experience richer.

This is just the beginning.

HeroLoom® is about learning, discovering and growing — together.
